University life is mostly about learning how to step out of your comfort zone and try out new things that can seem to be challenging at first.
Stepping out of your comfort zone and diving into the unknown is crucial in one’s personal growth. This can be illustrated by the fact that at a young age, as children, we would take innumerable risks but as we get older, we tend to hold ourselves back.
One major reason for not trying out new things anymore is because of the fear of failure. It is a heavy price to pay at the cost of a tremendous potential for growth and potential that is repressed. Some ways I tried to do new things are:
To make the full of university life, it is primordial to take calculated risks and to be open to new challenges. A leap of faith is all that it takes!
