Moving Racks in the Library

The University of Nottingham Malaysia has installed a cool technology to our library racks itself, which means that with just a few buttons, you got to witness the racks moving on its own while you are able to track the book which you want.

Cool, huh? It reminds me of something that only is seen in the Harry Potter movies.

In my personal opinion, I think that it is something which is done to save the spaces by adding more racks in a confined space, but I felt that sometimes the movement of the racks are so slow, that I would actually rather prefer them separated at a distance which is static.

What do you guys think about the bookshelves downstairs of the library?
